Resurrection
Christ is risen — and because He lives, we shall live also.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. Without it, our faith is empty and our hope is vain. But because Christ rose from the dead, death has been defeated, sin has been conquered, and every believer has the promise of eternal life. This study explores the historical resurrection of Jesus, the power it releases in our daily lives, and the glorious hope of our own bodily resurrection at His return.

Acts
2Whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
Romans
2Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
1 Corinthians
4For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
2 Corinthians
1Philippians
1Colossians
11 Thessalonians
1For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Hebrews
1Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
